The lecture illustrates the causes and manifestations of individual, institutional and structural racism in everyday life and at the workplace, especially in educational and research institutions It focuses in particular on academic racism in science and research. However, the lecture also shows what possibilities we have as a community, as individuals and as a research institution to counter racism in its various forms.

She has many years of experience in working with universities, political foundations and educational institutions. Her lecture is intended as an impulse for a stronger exchange and for a sustainable commitment in favour of a discrimination-free environment in our research institutions.
